What does the program involve?
Designed for nurses with more than six years of professional experience in health or aged care leadership roles. The program consists of a five-day face-to-face interactive workshop and six months of action learning sets and mentoring.
As a Nurse Director, you will actively participate in the program, which includes areas of:
Nursing leadership and strategy
High-performing teams leading
Managing quality improvement activities
Clinical governance
Human resource management and communication
Health economics and financial management

On successful completion of this 6-month program, you will be able to:
- Demonstrate an understanding of Australia's health and aged care systems and articulate the nursing profession's regulatory framework.
