Was it what you had expected: The week provided an exceptional opportunity to learn from leading nurse executives in Australia who generously gave their time to authentically share their experience, wisdom and advice. It was an incredible experience and provided me with renewed confidence and enthusiasm. Would I recommend to others: Definitely, the connections made with fellow participants were invaluable and the learnings inspiring. Completion in the NELP was a goal I set as part of my professional development plan and am so grateful to have had this opportunity experience. Biggest take away message: Nursing leadership is required in every aspect of our health service and taking time to invest in our own self development is pivotal to support the teams we lead, and the communities we serve.
